Gulf Coast Libraries Project

The Gulf Coast Libraries Project is a grant-supported initiative that is administered by LYRASIS. It was established to assist public libraries in Louisiana and Mississippi that were damaged by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The goal of this project is to ensure that library and public access computing services remain available to residents of impacted communities, while strengthening library staff skills and increasing staff capacity in library systems along the Gulf Coast.
