Announcement Regarding LYRASIS Annual Membership Meeting

The founding organizations of LYRASIS have traditionally held annual meetings for their respective memberships. However, with current economic conditions, we are sympathetic to the limitations experienced by many of our members and are committed to reaching out in a more local manner to not only help to defray travel costs but to also personally connect with members and support networking in their specific regions.

To accomplish this, we are hosting in-person Member Forums in every state in our membership. In addition, LYRASIS is holding regional conferences focusing on specific subject areas that members have requested including open source, reference, public libraries, and cataloging.  We advertise these conferences and Member Forums in our weekly newsletter and here on the LYRASIS website.  Please look for a meeting near you.

It is our hope that in the future we will be able to hold a LYRASIS annual meeting and as economic realities improve we will be polling members to determine interest.
