Description:
Travel web pages are now widespread, but which travel resources will best point your library users in the right direction as they plan personal and business travel? In this two-hour online class, students will explore 20 of the best travel resources librarians (and Lyrasis traveling trainers!) use to answer questions like, “this hotel is really reasonable -- should I stay here?” and “I’m staying overnight in a really small town -- is there a gem of a local restaurant here?” Students will then have the opportunity to explore travel reference resources further in an after-class exercise.
