This course is based on the revised chapters 9 and 12 of AACR2 and will cover all integrating resources with an emphasis on electronic resources.

Description:

This course is based on the revised chapters 9 and 12 of AACR2 and will cover all integrating resources, with an emphasis on electronic resources. The sessions will include:

  • An introduction to integrating resources and their identification
  • Instructions for cataloging updating websites, databases, and loose-leafs
  • Making changes to records
  • Case studies and more complex aspects of cataloging electronic integrating resources
  • Selections and options for access
  • An optional session on the cataloging of loose-leaf services
