Preserving Our Video Heritage Overcoming the Challenges of Analog Video Preservation (Live Online)

This two hour, live online class will discuss video preservation in libraries, archives and museums in terms that the audiovisual novice can readily grasp and with a mind towards the low-cost or no-cost options wherever possible.

  • Procuring video playback equipment, particularly for obsolete or rare formats
  • Storage tips and tactics to lengthen the viable lives of your video materials
  • The new frontier: digitization of video
