Description:
In this two-hour class, students will be introduced to the world of weeding. We’ll discuss weeding criteria and then take a look at the options for weeded material and workflow. This class invites class discussion and participation from students.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of class students will be able to:
- Understand what de-selection is and why we discard materials
- Become familiar with some of the different terms, techniques and methods out there to aid with de-selection
- Become familiar with the options for removing discarded materials from your library
- Learn about the resources to help with discarded material.
