LYRASIS Celebrates Librarians

Libraries have come a long way. The checkout system, catalog management, even the resources themselves have changed remarkably over the years. But, the need for assistance in locating information is still highly valued. In this issue, LYRASIS commends librarians for their steadfast commitment to serve their communities. We congratulate the recipients of the “I Love My Librarian! Award” at LYRASIS member institutions as well as our member librarians named Library Journal’s 2010 Movers and Shakers. We applaud all librarians for making a positive difference every day.

April 1, 2010 marks the one year anniversary of LYRASIS. As we celebrate our accomplishments in support of libraries, we celebrate you.
