The structure of the DDC, principles of classification, number building and use of the tables, the manual and the relative index will be covered along with hands-on exercises using WebDewey.

Intended Audience: New catalogers, new cataloging staff, librarians unfamiliar with the structure and concepts of Dewey classification and anyone wanting a refresher course in using DDC.
