The Mass Digitization Collaborative is available to all LYRASIS members and offers the opportunity to have their materials digitized for a low fee.

The Collaborative's initial focus is on mass digitization of text. Eligible materials include books, serials, microfilmed books, and newspapers. Materials must be in the public domain (or have permission from copyright owner) and have metadata to be included.

To get started, just provide an estimated number of pages to be digitized in your project.

LYRASIS provides volume discounts.

Currently pricing is subsidized thanks to generous support of the Sloan Foundation. The subsidy is only available until depleted.

Pricing includes a suite of services:

Digitization of materials
Hosting and preservation of digital files
Assistance with selection and project coordination
Access to collaborative tools to support your efforts

- Tools to help you track project progress (under development)
- Access to LYRASIS community of digitization
