When your library joins the New England Regional Depository, LYRASIS will provide you with a wealth of information on the best practices for selecting, preparing, and shipping your materials to the facility, including the following expert services:

• Help with marketing the storage facility to administrators and library users.
• Planning workshop for your staff to gain an in-depth understanding of the storage issues from collections management through circulation.
• Procedures to select appropriate materials for storage, physically prepare volumes, and plan transportation to the facility.
• Consulting service (one day on site at your library included). LYRASIS' expert consultants will help you plan the process and make selections for an easy library-to-storage facility transfer.
