Robert Miller  
Robert Miller, Chief Executive Officer

Robert Miller comes to LYRASIS from Internet Archive, a non-profit library of millions of free books, movies, software, music and more. While there he served as General Manager of Digital Libraries, building the Digital Libraries Division from the ground up, resulting in more than 600 million digitized pages that are available globally with more than 300 million downloads per year. His work included building key partnerships with state librarians, top global libraries, archives and museums, leading library consortia, grant-funding institutions and technology company leaders such as Yahoo, MSN, Adobe and Canon. Prior to his tenure with Internet Archive, he was co-founder or C-level of 5 start-up companies, including CEO of an Israeli technology company that was commercializing specialized search technology. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Lehigh University.

Vern Ritter
Vern Ritter, Chief Financial Offer

Vern Ritter has a broad-gauge, diligent and technically-oriented financial professional. He is responsible for the Accounting, Human Resources, and Information Technologies departments at LYRASIS. Prior to joining LYRASIS, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Capitol Development Group, LLC. His previous experience also includes CFO positions with Time Saving Services and the Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership, as well as the role of Controller for Cardinal Apartment Management Group. Vern is a CPA with a BSBA in Accounting from Ohio State University in Columbus, and an MBA in Finance from Saint Francis University in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Laurie Arp  
Celeste Feather, Senior Director of Licensing and Strategic Partnerships

Celeste Feather has over 25 years of experience working with libraries and consortia. She directs a team of 3 librarians to develop collaborative and strategic opportunities for LYRASIS members for digital resources, supplies, administrative tools, and services. The team also works with specialized vendors in digitization and preservation to develop group opportunities, and oversees the growing number of Open Access initiatives for which LYRASIS provides ongoing support. Celeste previously worked in a variety of positions in libraries at Georgetown University, the University of Connecticut, and The Ohio State University. Prior to joining LYRASIS in 2010, she was the Assistant Director for E-Resource Licensing at OhioLINK, the statewide academic library consortium in Ohio. Over the course of her career she has gained broad experience in the inner workings of libraries and the challenges they face, an in-depth understanding of the evolving scholarly communication ecosystem, and keen appreciation for the benefits that derive from strong community organization. She received an MLS from the University of Maryland at College Park, an MA in Anthropology from George Washington University, and a BA in Anthropology from Oberlin College.

Laurie Arp  
Laurie Gemmill Arp, Director of Collections Services and Community Supported Software

Laurie Gemmill Arp has over 20 years of experience working with cultural heritage institutions. As the Director of Collections Services and Community Supported Software, she directs the activities of several community supported software efforts including ArchivesSpace and CollectionSpace. Laurie also directs activities related to digitization and preservation including training, consulting, the Digitization Collaborative and working with members and business partners to digitize and increase access to collections. Previously, she worked for OCLC in positions including Senior Implementation Program Manager and Digital Projects Specialist. For the Ohio Historical Society, she managed several award-winning digital projects, including Ohio Memory and the African-American Experience in Ohio, part of the Library of Congress American Memory online resource. Her other positions at the Ohio Historical Society included State Archivist and Assistant Head of Online Access Department. She received her MLIS from the University of California, Los Angeles; her MA in European History from the University of California, Irvine; and her BA in European History from the University of California, San Diego. Laurie was appointed to serve on the State Library of Ohio Board in 2015.

John Herbert  
John Herbert, Director of Technology Services

John Herbert, Director of Technology Services, leads our Digital Technology Services. He served as the Head of Digital Ventures and Program Director for the Utah Digital Newspapers at the J. Willard Marriott Library at the University of Utah. As the Head of Digital Ventures, John was responsible for overall program results, including fund raising and developing statewide collaboration for digital newspapers. Prior to working at the University of Utah, John served in several technology and operations leadership positions, including the Director of Logistics Design, during his 17 years with the American Express-Travelers Cheque Group. Through his various leadership positions, John gained excellent knowledge of leading business operations, incorporating technologies to support them, and provided superior service while balancing an external collegial presence and spearheading collaboration in our communities. John holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Kansas.

Meg Blum  
Lisa Larson, Director of Member Engagement

Lisa Larson, is the Director of Member Engagement and has worked within the library community for over 20 years. Lisa has a passion for understanding the issues facing libraries, archives and museums today and an enthusiasm for open source technologies. As Director of Member Engagement, Lisa leads a team of Member Services Representatives and regionally based LYRASIS Outreach Representatives who provide solutions to reduce electronic product & resources expenditures and create efficiencies for member organizations.  Our unique model of outreach extends to local visits and a deep understanding of local and regional issues that matter most. Lisa travels extensively throughout the United States to ensure that LYRASIS is in a state of constant evolution and at the forefront of industry needs and expectations. Creating value for member organizations and LYRASIS partners is her primary objective and if you've met Lisa, you immediately sense her commitment to this guiding role. Lisa graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Communications and has been accepted into the MLIS program at University of South Florida.

Meg Blum  
Meg McCroskey Blum, Associate Director of Marketing & Communications

Meg McCroskey Blum, Associate Director of Marketing & Communications, leads our Marketing and Membership teams. Before coming to LYRASIS in 2010, Meg served as Marketing Manager at BCR, helping to integrate BCR members into LYRASIS and building our western presence. Meg manages all marketing and communications efforts, including conference presence, website, elections communications and other special member programs. She has a long tenure with non-profit organizations and as a for-profit business owner, and was previously an academic instructor at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a Bachelor's Degree from member institution Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. Her home library is Boulder Public Library in Boulder, Colorado, and she is a frequent visitor of the Denver Art Museum.

Angella Graham  
Angella Graham, Senior Human Resources Manager

Angella Graham, Senior Human Resources Manager, brings more than 16 years of HR experience to LYRASIS. She holds a BA in Organizational Development from State University of NY at New Paltz and a Master's in Human Resources Management from Long Island University. She is a strong organizational development manager specializing in creating human resources departments. Here at LYRASIS, Angella is focused on creating and maintaining a strong, professional and productive work environment and helping us to recruit the best possible new team members to serve our members. Angella holds several certifications and memberships including GPHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM an SHRM-Atlanta.
