Lisa Larson  
Lisa Larson, Director of Member Engagement

Lisa Larson, is the Director of Member Engagement and has worked within the library community for over 20 years. Lisa has a passion for understanding the issues facing libraries, archives and museums today and an enthusiasm for open source technologies. As Director of Member Engagement, Lisa leads a team of Member Services Representatives and regionally based LYRASIS Outreach Representatives who provide solutions to reduce electronic product & resources expenditures and create efficiencies for member organizations.  Our unique model of outreach extends to local visits and a deep understanding of local and regional issues that matter most. Lisa travels extensively throughout the United States to ensure that LYRASIS is in a state of constant evolution and at the forefront of industry needs and expectations. Creating value for member organizations and LYRASIS partners is her primary objective and if you've met Lisa, you immediately sense her commitment to this guiding role. Lisa graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Communications and has been accepted into the MLIS program at University of South Florida.

     
Mary Meyer  
Mary Meyer, MLS, Member Representative

Mary Meyer serves LYRASIS member libraries, archives and museums in the northeastern US.  Having worked at the University of Buffalo as a reference, collection development and bibliographic instruction librarian, Mary brings an astute knowledge of the issues and concerns that today's libraries and librarians are facing. From her experience with EBSCO, CQ Press/SAGE and other publishers and database providers, Mary enjoys offering the best possible solutions for libraries and other cultural heritage organizations, with her top priority being member satisfaction. She received her Masters of Library Science and her Bachelors of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Buffalo, Buffalo, NY.

Mary serves members in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.

     
Teddy Gray  
Teddy Gray, MLIS, Member Representative

Teddy Gray, who serves LYRASIS members in the South, brings over 20 years experience of working in libraries. Before joining LYRASIS, he spent 14 years at Duke University in a variety of positions, including science liaison, branch manager, collection development librarian, and head of the acquisitions department. This unique blend of experience gives him a deep understanding of the challenges libraries face on both the public and technical services side. His strong understanding of the resource lifecycle, including budgeting, selection, licensing, and access, allows him to effectively help members in their eResource acquisitions. He is especially committed to ensuring that LYRASIS members get the most value out of their membership. A native of Louisiana, Teddy received a BS in Geography from Louisiana State University and an MS in Geography and MLIS from the University of Tennessee.

     
Madeline Sheldon  
Madeline Sheldon, MSI, Member Representative, Digital Technology Services

As an information professional, Madeline Sheldon enjoys collaborating with institutions who continuously cultivate relationships with their constituents, and who remain committed to providing trustworthy, freely accessible digital resources to their patrons. She enthusiastically welcomes questions about ArchivesSpace, Islandora, and/or CollectionSpace, and looks forward to discussing how the platforms will benefit institutions as they work to collect, arrange, describe, and make findable collections in their repositories. Her past involvement with academic, public, and government cultural heritage organizations included projects focused on digitization, digital asset management, web archiving, archival processing projects, and marketing/outreach. Madeline graduated from the University of Michigan School of Information, specializing in library science and preservation, and she also holds a B.A. in English from Southern Methodist University.

     
Katy Klettlinger  
Katy L. W. Klettlinger, MLIS, CA, Member Representative

Katy Klettlinger, serves states in the Mid-Atlantic region and has over fifteen years' experience in archival, government, and public library settings in Ohio. Previously, Klettlinger was a Library Consultant for the State Library of Ohio where she assisted public libraries with digitization, space planning, and strategic planning. Before coming to the State Library, Klettlinger worked for six years as the Records Manager and Archivist for Licking County Government where she built the county's program from the ground up and created its first county-wide digitization program. Her background in archival and digitization management for government settings in addition to public library needs provides unique perspectives for librarians to consider when offering quality services to their patrons. Katy takes pride in supporting colleagues and helping them succeed.

Katy serves libraries in the Mid-Atlantic and Great Lakes.


     
Andrew Gardner  
Andrew Gardner, Member Representative

Andrew Gardner comes to LYRASIS after ten years' experience in STM Publishing in Content development, Sales, and Electronic Licensing negotiation. In his college years, Andrew interned at his university museum and he subsequently became an art gallery owner, remaining engaged in the fine arts community to this day. Thus, the opportunity to work for LYRASIS and to be in service to libraries, archives and museums was one that allows him to further deepen his experience with these communities, but also meets his interest and passion for working with museums. After 11 years in New York City, he will be a resident of Southern California as of July 2017, so that he can be geographically available to LYRASIS members and future members, while also immersing himself in the specific needs and opportunity within the region.

Andrew serves the Western Region.
