Description:

In this training, users will learn how to create, edit, and manage agent and subject records, link agent and subject records to material descriptive records, and create and manage classifications in ArchivesSpace.

At the end of this session, participants will:

  • understand the function of agent, subject and classification records in the ArchivesSpace application
  • create agent and subject records in ArchivesSpace
  • edit agent and subject records in ArchivesSpace
  • merge agent records in ArchivesSpace
  • link agent and subject records to other record types in ArchivesSpace
  • create classifications in ArchivesSpace
  • link records to classifications in ArchivesSpace

Prerequisties:

This workshop presumes that participants have taken the ArchivesSpace Basics 1 or 2 day workshop or have practical experience with ArchivesSpace sufficient to create and navigate records with minimal guidance.
