This webinar will be an opportunity for LYRASIS members to learn about a new service aimed at the academic community, Mindscape Commons. Mindscape Commons is the world’s first online resource for immersive and interactive content in mental health. It presents and documents nearly 200 VR experiences, as well as some serious games and apps, for teaching and research in counseling, social work, psychology, health sciences, and related programs.

Presenters
Eileen Lawrence, VP of Sales and Chief Inspiration Officer, has worked with academic libraries since 1980. She was one of the founders of Alexander Street Press, after serving as Vice President of Sales at Chadwyck-Healey, Inc. Eileen holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.Ed. in Education for Social Change from Antioch University of New England, where she has served on the advisory board of the Center for Academic Innovation. Before her work with libraries, she taught in a self-created model preschool, where she trained education students as adjunct for several VT/NH colleges, and was recognized as one of the region’s top ten teachers.
Elizabeth Robey, publisher of Mindscape Commons, has worked in academic publishing since 2000, most recently for Alexander Street Press and ProQuest. Her primary focus has been in the fields of counseling and social work where she has spent the last 20 years building relationships with faculty and organizations, translating their expertise into hands-on training materials. She is the editor of many recognized databases including Counseling and Therapy in Video Series, Psychotherapy Transcripts, Client Narratives, and Reference Works, and Social Work Online. She received the O'Hana award from the Counselors for Social Justice (a division of The American Counseling Association) for her advocacy work in film.
