This class will cover all of the aspects of scholarly articles, including how to find them and read them. We'll discuss what makes a paper scholarly, the structure(s) of various types of scholarly papers, how to locate and quickly read scholarly papers, and how to teach patrons about scholarly papers.

Rachel Chandler is the Science and Data Visualization Librarian at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. She is a former medical illustrator with a background in Biology and Chemistry. She is lover of all things related to science and art.
