This class is a follow-up to Data Visualization for Librarians Part 1, that will cover more advanced types of data visualizations, misleading data visualizations, tools for creating visualizations, and design concepts. Join us for this deeper dive into the world of data visualization!

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this class, students will be able to:

identify misleading data visualizations
describe tools for visualizing data and when to use them
explain basic principles and concepts of design and how they relate to visualizing data

Instructor

Rachel Chandler Rachel Chandler is the Science and Data Visualization Librarian at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. She is a former medical illustrator with a background in Biology and Chemistry. She is lover of all things related to science and art.
