In a world where people avoid in-person conversations due to the divisiveness permeating our culture, learning to talk with one another is vital. Human flourishing provides a vehicle to have important conversations by embracing both the individual and community - not as an intersection but a union. In this webinar, we will be discussing strategies for how to cultivate opportunities for meaningful conversations in your space.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this class, students will be able to:

Describe the importance/impact of well-being and human flourishing on community
Explain basic strategies for holding healthy conversations in a public space
Delineate how to intentionally engage individuals that have community impact
Generate at least one practical outline for a curated conversations to a set of citations.


Misty Dawn Falkner is the founder and owner of Live Meraki, a strengths-based coaching and consulting business. She has always been passionate about helping others to become their own extraordinary. She is a Gallup-certified Strengths-Based Educator and Executive Coach. Her experience working in corporate, community and academic settings informs her holistic and practical approach to cultivating meaningful opportunities for individuals and teams to experience growth and how to leverage those strengths for community development. The goal of her work is to creatively and strategically help others discover pathways to greater engagement and increased hope.

Misty currently lives in Prescott, AZ with her husband of 23 years, Eric. She loves to be in nature, reading a good book, and listening to an eclectic playlist of music.
