Attendees will spend the first segment of the webinar learning the phases of the design thinking process through a video presentation (viewed in advance) that examines the work of a design team. This is used to introduce the six phases of the design thinking process. Examples of applications in libraries are used to reinforce how design thinking is applied in practice. In the second segment attendees are introduced to the mechanics of developing a design challenge. This involves resources to structure and conduct the challenge at your library. This webinar makes use of several activities common to design thinking education.
