Join us for an overview of DuraCloud, an easy to use preservation storage service. We will cover what DuraCloud is, common use cases, and how libraries, archives, and museums are using DuraCloud as part of their digital preservation workflow. We will also discuss the Chronopolis Network dark archive storage option, and end with a brief demonstration of the DuraCloud Sync Tool.

Instructor: Heather Greer Klein is an Outreach & Engagement Coordinator for Digital Technology Services at LYRASIS. She collaborates with libraries, archives, museums, and nonprofit institutions of all sizes to identify identify the right open source, hosted preservation and access solutions for their needs. Heather was previously in this role at DuraSpace, and spent six years as a Member Services Coordinator for the NC LIVE consortium. Heather received her MLIS from Simmons College.
