Since early 2021, the University of Michigan Press has been transitioning to an open access monograph model termed Fund to Mission. Join us on Thursday, October 14 from 3 - 4 PM (US Eastern Time) for a webinar discussing updates on the Press's transition to open. During the webinar, attendees will learn about:
- The current open monograph model landscape
- UMP's value proposition around open access and sustainable infrastructure for the humanities and social sciences
- Ways in which UMP is measuring impact and reach of open access scholarship
- Details about UMP's progress, funding goal, the transition timeline, and how to support the transition
Fund to Mission is an inclusive, values-based model that seeks to encourage and enable participation for all institutions regardless of their size. We want to ensure that everyone has a chance to be a part of building an open access future. Learn more about Fund to Mission here.
