This session will be an overview of IRUS, the Institutional Repository Usage Statistics software developed by Jisc, a research and service provider to higher education and further education. IRUS is a service which consolidates COUNTER-conformant statistics providing opportunities to demonstrate the value and impact of institutional repositories, both internally and in comparison with other institutions. LYRASIS has partnered with Jisc to form and administer IRUS-US, the U.S. based community of IRUS users.
During this session, participants will learn about the benefits and features of the service,learn how the software functions, learn about recent updates to COUNTER-5 and upgrades to the user interface, and see a demonstration of the software in action. There will also be information about the IRUS-US community and how it will operate.

Hannah Rosen is a Strategist for Research and Scholarly Communication at LYRASIS. She is responsible for managing several vendor and non-profit partnerships within LYRASIS, as well as coordinating and publishing LYRASIS Research reports, the most recent being the 2020 DEI Survey Report.
Jo Lambert is a service and project manager for UK shared services, such as the Jisc Usage Statistics Portal (JUSP) and IRUS-UK.
