Scholarly Blogs: A New Source of Authoritative Information (For LYRASIS Members)

No sessions are currently scheduled for this event. To request a new session, please contact membersupport@lyrasis.org

Description:

Research is not solely about the peer-reviewed journal; it's about the conversation and opinions surrounding the journal and new forms of scholarly expression. One of these forms is scholarly blogs. My presentation will set scholarly blogs in the context of the changing field of research and discovery and provide case studies on the use of scholarly blogs by early adopters of ACI Scholarly Blog Index, and the metrics surrounding their use.

Presenter: Pat Sobosik, General Manager, ACI Scholarly Blog Index
