Description:

The ultimate online resource for plays, critical analysis and performance, Drama Online provides easy access to over 1,700 play texts, 350 audio plays from L.A. Theatre Works, and over 150 hours of video from leading institutions including Shakespeare’s Globe and the BBC. The collection includes critical works ranging from Aeschylus to the Arden Shakespeare Series, major foreign works in English translation, modern classics, and a continually growing list of contemporary plays. Unique Play Tools with Character Grids, Words and Speech graphs, and Part Books offer a new way to engage with plays for close study or for performance. Drama Online is an excellent resource for university and community college libraries serving institutions with theater, drama, and literature departments and for public libraries serving drama and theater troupes.
