Description:

Efficiency is about getting more for less. And while there is single method to digitize efficiently, this session, led by new LYRASIS partner, Digital Transitions Division of Cultural Heritage, will provide an overview on six different methods to increase your efficiencies. The session will cover Measurement, Standards, Investment and Collaboration. Examples of how other Digital Transition library clients are handling issues and how results were realized will be discussed. If you are considering digitization and/or necessary hardware investment, consider joining this session. Our new partnership with Digital Transitions provides discounts to LYRASIS members.

Your hosts: Doug Peterson is a Product Manager and Technical Specialist at Digital Transitions Division of Cultural Heritage. He teaches a variety of courses on Capture One, and is instrumental in the rigorous testing process on all new medium format digital hardware and software coming to market. Doug graduated from Ohio University with a BS in Commercial Photography in 2007, and has a continuing passion for photography as well as the gear that enables others to realize their vision.

This session will be co-presented by Katy Klettlinger, Mid-Atlantic and Great Lakes Outreach Librarian.
