The Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts (CCAHA), founded in 1977, is one of the largest nonprofit conservation centers in the United States. Focusing on the physical preservation and conservation of historic and cultural artifacts, they specialize in the treatment of works of art and artifacts on paper, such as drawings, prints, maps, posters, photographs, and more.
CCAHA offers three main types of services:
  • Physical conservation work
  • Consultation services
  • Educational programs and workshops
