Project MUSE eBook Collections

Vendor: Project Muse

Project MUSE has partnered with the University Press e-Book Consortium (UPeC) to offer top-quality peer-reviewed books from university presses and scholarly publishers. The University Press Content Consortium (UPCC) e-Book Collections, powered by Project MUSE, launched on January 1, 2012. Currently over 90 university presses and scholarly societies are partnering with Project MUSE, and over 35,000 ebook titles are projected to be in the MUSE collections in 2015.

LYRASIS libraries will join the carefully-negotiated central group license that includes the best possible terms of use for the content. The license, negotiated by LYRASIS on behalf of ARL libraries in 2012, contains terms key to the future of appropriate and accessible use of ebooks in academic libraries. Libraries that support this central license will add their voices to the conversation about key usage rights for ebooks in libraries today. Please direct questions to LYRASIS Support , or 800.999.8558 x 3900.
