LYRASIS brings together members, content providers, and service providers to develop new models and diverse opportunities to engage. We firmly believe that our community members will achieve more through collaboration than by working independently.

Key features of our program:

  • Negotiate group license agreements that meet current, library friendly, and high standards for legal, business, and usage terms

  • Establish pricing and cost shares that are affordable for a broad and diverse community of members

  • Simplify administrative processes

  • Provide robust support for Open Access content programs, several at national scale

  • Develop new opportunities for members with carefully vetted partners and vendors

  • Form new communities to support data exchange and interoperability services that enhance scholarly communication such as ORCID and IRUS

  • Identify mission-aligned partners and programs and explore pathways for their continuing sustainability in concert with members
